Gamers Converge on UB for LAN Party

Algonquin Studios co-sponsored a LAN party for University at Buffalo's chapter of ACM (Association of Computer Machinery). The event, held on Saturday, March 24th 2007, was the second annual LAN party held by UB's ACM.

The LAN party featured many different team-based and head-to-head networked video games. With over 50 people in attendance, ACM was pleased with this year's turnout and looks forward to continuing to improve this event for next year.

"This year's LAN Party was very successful," stated Adam Bull, Treasurer of UB's ACM. "We'd like to thank Algonquin Studios and all of our sponsors for their support in this event."

The Association of Computer Machinery is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to making advances in the field of information technology. The student chapter of ACM provides a fun and informative environment for those looking to expand their computing knowledge.
